Kismet - It's your destiny

As the westernmost town on Fire Island, Kismet is easily accessible from by walking from Robert Moses State Park, by Ferry from Bayshore.  You can also get to here by boat... docking is available at the Kismet Inn Marina or you can anchor out and wade to shore.

The town center overlooks the Great South Bay, and hosts two restaurants, a pizzeria and a small grocery store with ATM.  There are benches around the flagpole and along the grocery store wall so you can rest your tired feet or sip your favorite drink at sunset.

The heart of town has a grocery store, two restaurant / bars, the Kismet Inn and Surf's Out (both with outdoor dining & live music), a pizza & ice cream stand, Beach & Vine wine & liquor store, and the Fire Island Tap, serving beer, coffee and a bit of food...

And the beach... have we mentioned the beach... a lovely stretch of sand and waves!
